Our family opened this business in 2011. Indeed, Ayres Family Cremation was established to ensure that all aspects of each direct cremation arrangement is handled in a professional, caring and personal manner and at an affordable price.

We’re focused on delivering excellent service that is thorough, yet kind and respectful. We own and utilize our modern crematory and never outsource any of our services. We also don’t bring in outsourced work from other facilities. You and your loved one are our focus. Our priority is to make sure each family and their loved one receives dignified and compassionate care services, at an affordable cost.

Your affordable and dignified alternative

By focusing our services and expertise on direct cremation, we don’t have the costly overhead that a traditional funeral home does. Caskets, embalming services and high-end hearses are not part of our business model. This is why cremation costs are much lower than the more traditional burial services.

Locally owned and active in our community

Our shared community is where we live and serve. Part of how we do business as the only locally owned cremation service in Eureka is by being active right here in our city. We’re members in several community organizations: Rotary, the Elks Club, Shriner’s Club as well as Soroptimist International of Eureka. Giving back is also part of how we do business. We give regular donations to local nonprofit organizations in the area, including Humboldt State University Music Department, Food for People and the Area 1 Agency of Aging.
