Costs and Packages

Ayres Family Cremation offers a complete direct cremation package to families throughout Humboldt County, plus surrounding areas for just $1,095. This price includes everything you need to carry out a simple cremation.

Mandatory Fees and Taxes
Our package includes the removal from the place of death, storage, cremation, cost of permits, a brief viewing and witness of cremation (if wanted) a plastic urn and sales tax (8.5%).

Fees for Standard Options
You may add to our basic package standard services such as obtaining certified copies of the death certificate on your behalf. You may also purchase items such as an upgraded or keepsake urn and cremation jewelry. Each service and item is individually priced. Fees for Handling Cremated Remains
There is no fee to deliver your selected urn within 30 miles of our facility. For shipping an urn via USPS Priority to an address outside that radius but within the continental U.S, there is a fee of $125.00.

Prices of Memorial Packages, Registers and Thank You Cards
Many people like to customize their services with personalized merchandise like prayer cards, memorial folders and a register book. Each item is individually priced and added to the cost of the basic package.
